Infrastructure you can stand watch on.

Strategy. Infrastructure. Security. Accountability.

Most small and mid-sized businesses can't afford a full-time IT department — so technology decisions get made by whoever has time, and nobody actually owns the risk. RuckTech steps in as that missing IT department: managed IT, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and physical security under one accountable relationship, led by an active IT Director with 18+ years running real environments in education, healthcare, and field operations.

What we do

Services

If you don't have an in-house IT person, this is everything that role would normally cover — one vendor, one point of accountability, for the network, the security, and everything that watches over it.
01

Managed IT

Helpdesk, infrastructure monitoring, patching, and proactive maintenance on a flat monthly rate — director-level IT operations without the payroll. Predictable pricing, no surprise callout fees.

02

Network Design & Deployment

Ubiquiti-based builds, structured cabling, wireless surveys, and on-site deployment — designed, installed, and documented so the next engineer can pick up exactly where we left off.

03

Security & Compliance

Cybersecurity posture assessments, endpoint detection and response, and compliance readiness — MFA and two-factor authentication, password management, anti-ransomware protection, automatic patching, security awareness training, and backup and disaster-recovery planning. We close the gaps that actually get organizations breached — not just the checklist ones.

04

Physical Security Systems

Verkada and Ubiquiti camera and access-control systems — designed, installed, and managed by our team. One point of contact for the network and everything that watches over it.

05

Full MSP Partnership

The complete stack: infrastructure, security, backup, identity, and support under one agreement with defined SLAs — response expectations clear before you sign, not after.

How we work

You don't need an IT department. You need us.

Most small and mid-sized businesses can't justify hiring a full-time IT person — but they still need someone who owns the problem when something breaks. That's what we do. Here's exactly what working with us looks like, no jargon required.

STEP 1

We take a look

No obligation. We walk through your computers, network, and cameras and tell you plainly what's working, what's at risk, and what it would cost to fix — in language that doesn't require an IT background to follow.

STEP 2

You get a real price

One flat number for the project, and one flat monthly rate if you want ongoing coverage — both in writing before you sign. No hourly surprises, no "it depends" after the fact.

STEP 3

We set it up

We handle the install — wiring, hardware, configuration — as quietly and quickly as your business allows, then document everything so nothing depends on any one person remembering how it works.

STEP 4

We keep watch

Your systems are monitored around the clock. Most problems get caught and fixed before you'd ever notice — that's the whole point of not having to manage this yourself.

About

Director-level IT operations, delivered at MSP scale.

RuckTech is led by Bruce Rucker, a senior IT leader driving enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation across education, healthcare, and operationally complex environments — board-level strategy with hands-on execution.

Before founding RuckTech, Bruce served 12 years in the U.S. Army as a Communications Chief of Operations and managed telecommunications across 80+ healthcare sites. Today he directs IT for a public school district while building RuckTech on the same playbook: vendor governance, incident response, modernization roadmaps, and security posture.
